Laser treatment for acne scars

There are different types of acne scars and residual marks, including depressed scars, redness and pigmentation. Each may require a different laser approach.
Non-ablative, or “remodelling”, lasers may be used to improve acne scars while preserving the skin’s surface.

Laser and light-based treatments may also be used for active acne, depending on the type of acne and the device selected. Treatment is performed on an outpatient basis. The time needed before returning to work or leisure activities depends on the treatment used and your skin’s response.
